The Giddings High School FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America) competed at the Regional competition this past weekend and walked away winners. The Sports Nutrition team consisting of Sarah Cardenas, Karen Carreon and Karolina Carreon placed fourth and will advance to the State level. Competing in Food Innovations, Karla Moreno and Lisbeth Rubalcava placed third and will also advance to the State competition. Misha Awad and Trae Luna also attended taking the Food Science Family and Consumer Science Assessment. The state level of competition will be held in Dallas the first weekend in April.
