GHS Principal Michael Mahoney commented on the ranking, “The credit goes to our faculty across the entire District and our amazing students and graduates,” continued Mahoney. “There is a lot of noise about public education out there right now, but we should never doubt the positive impact educators have on their students. This is especially true in Giddings ISD. We provide our students with incredible educational experiences and opportunities and we hold them to high standards. Our students here at GISD continue to exceed our expectations.” Mahoney added, “I want to encourage our faculty, staff, and students to continue their great work at meeting our high standards of excellence. Let’s go Buffs!”
