Giddings ISD - End of Year Proceduresures

Giddings High School

Tuesday, May 19th and Tuesday May 26th - 9:00 am-12:00 pm

• May 19th, only - Pick up student medicine still at school
• May19th, only - No new assignments will be given out, but final packets from the previous week can be turned in
• Return all other school issued items such as calculators, library books, and textbooks
• Pay debts
• Return student Chromebooks and chargers

• Please make sure you have the device and charger
• Replacement fee if damaged or not returned

• Pick up Pre-AP and AP summer reading books.

Giddings Middle School

Tuesday, May 19th -  9:00 am-12:00 pm

• Final packet drop off - No new assignments will be given out, but final packets from the previous week can be turned in
• Return student Chromebooks and chargers

• Please make sure you have the device and charger
• Replacement fee if damaged or not returned

• Return all other school issued items such as calculators, library books, and novels (Hatchet)
• Pick up student medicine still at school
• Pre-AP summer reading packets can be picked up (for 2020-2021 7th and 8th graders interested in Pre-AP English/Reading).

Tuesday, May 19th - 8:00 am-2:00 pm - GMS Athletic and Band Drop-off and Pick-up

Please follow the schedule below and park in the parking lot near the band hall.  

• Students will return all school issued items during the following times:

• 8th grade--8:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m.
• 7th grade--10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• 6th grade--12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m

• Athletic clothes and equipment will be dropped off in the locker room area.
• Instruments and other band items can be dropped off in the band hall.  
• If you have any personal items in the locker room or band hall, you can pick them up at this time.

Giddings Intermediate School

Tuesday, May 19th, 9:00 am-12:00 pm - All done curbside, please stay in your vehicle

• Final packet drop off - No new assignments will be given out, but final packets from the previous week can be turned in
• Return student Chromebooks and chargers

• Please make sure you have the device and charger
• Replacement fee if damaged or not returned

• Return library books (if not previously turned in) OR pay library fees
• Return school owned recorders (if not previously turned in)
• Pick up student medicine still at school
• Pick up personal belongings (if not previously picked up)
• Any personal belongings NOT picked up by 5/19/20 will be thrown away or donated

Giddings Elementary School

Thursday, May 21st, 9:00 am-12:00 pm Drive Thru Only

• Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, PPCD/CDC, Miller/Nicks--Car Lane (enter off of Edgewood Street)
• 2nd Grade & 3rd Grade--Bus Lane (enter off of Industry Street)
• Teachers will have all supplies and belongings for students from the classrooms.
• Return library books
• Return student Chromebooks and chargers

• Please make sure you have the device and charger
• Replacement fee if damaged or not returned

• Return any other school items checked out to your child
