Board of Trustees Election Information

Giddings ISD Board of Trustee elections are held in May. School Board members are elected to a three-year term of office.

The next Board of Trustees election is May 3, 2025. The first day to file for a place on the ballot is Wednesday, January 15, 2025. The last day to file is Friday, February 14, 2025 at 5:00 PM; the last day to file Declarations of Write-In Candidacy is Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Applications are to be dropped off at the Central Administration Building at 2337 N. Main, Giddings, TX 78942.

In the event of inclement weather and the offices must be closed, you may email your completed and notarized application to christina.kieschnick@giddings.txed.net or fax to 979-542-9264.
